Mushrooms growing through a crack in pavement.

She Persists

She sends forth tiny tendrils, vines winding around their targets in tight coils, grasping for their place in the world.

She scatters life forms into the harshest, most microscopic spaces, where they find the faintest hint of moisture, light, or nourishment. She claims burned forests and rotting vegetation, turning death into nurseries for new growth.

She envelops abandoned remnants of the human world, slipping into the spaces we neglected to fill. She swallows what we discard and, through quiet persistence, transforms abandonment into lush, verdant life.

She is patient.
She is relentless.
She is life.

Nature does not wage war against humanity.

She merely outlasts us.

She reclaims what we leave.

She does not fear death, because it is simply another beginning.

With every drop of rain, she whispers the same ancient promise:

Life endures.

Life prevails.
